Frank Toppa came to the Cape in 19
75 to teach music at the Nauset High and Middle Schools. His first church position here was as Choral Director, Organist, and Handbell Director for the Federated Church of Orleans. He has been Music Director for the Highlanders, Chatham Drama Guild, Barnstable Comedy Club, and he has played String Bass with the Cape Cod Symphony and a number of theater groups.
In 1985 Frank left the Cape to become Organist/Choir Director at the UU Society of Amherst, and music teacher in the Amherst/Pelham School district. While there he received a Masters degree in Organ Performance and Music Education at UMass. From Amherst, he moved to Boston where he pursued a Masters Degree in Musicology with a thesis on the Six Organ Fugues of Schumann which are based on the B.A.C.H theme. For seven years he taught music in the Brookline Public Schools and is currently music teacher at Belmont Day School. His full resume can be found at: Toppatoons.blogspot.com.

Frank with his wife and son returned to Cape Cod and they live in South Orleans.
